Of course with little fellows like this moving around all the time - it takes some fine tuning on the focus - that's why the Manfrotto sliding plate comes along where ever we go. Thanks to it's quick release lever I was able to adjust focus reasonably quickly.
Dwarf (Green) Tree Frogs
Finally got a chance to get some photo's out of the camera too see how they turned out. Surprisingly these ones taken of a Dwarf Eastern Tree frog on Christmas day didn't turn out too bad.
As you can see from the sequence he didn't just sit there and have his photo taken - I basically had to wait for him to move to places where I could get a good shot of him. The best guess is that he's around 20mm in length. In this first shot you can see a bit of the flash bouncing back at us. I luckily had packed my EF 180mm Macro and the MT-24EX flash
(it was a overcast day).

I've been described as a lost technocrat or a wondering luddite, personally I just like everything that takes us forward.
