Broadband is over the horizon...
The fact that if we had lived a block North, South or West of our current location we could have had it nearly 2 years ago is a subject best left alone - at least from the point of view of my blood pressure and other associated stress indicators.

Well in their usual stupendous fashion Telstra are going to provide broadband at our address at last.

Yes on this glorious day, we have changed from an EDOC (Telstra code for Estimated Date Of Completion) 25/11/2011 (Testra code for "Not Currently Scheduled to Every Be Provided") to 25/10/2005. Of course knowing that our friends one estate over had an EDOC of 26/7/2005 and were only connected in the last few days does take a little shine off the news, but hey! its happening at least. Personally I have a PEDOC (Personal EDOC) of 25/12/2005.
